What’s the name given to a stall at a village/school fete where you smash old crockery with wooden balls?

The only thing I got from google was “crockery smash”, which is NOT how I remember it. I’ve convinced myself it has a colour in the title, like “blue something”, but I’m probably on the wrong tack. I used to LOVE this stall, but nowadays, no doubt, health and safety have consigned it to the “too high risk to insure against little kiddy getting a shard of ceramic in the eye” bin.
Shame though.
Thanks for the “break a plate” answer. However, I’m in the UK, and we had a more obscure name for this stall, which seemed to have no bearing on the action of breaking plates.
:)
