Can I make a pizza without a pizza pan?
Hi. I want to make a pizza. I’m making the base from scratch but all the recipes talk about placing it in a sandwich tin, pizza pan, etc. Can’t you just let it rise on a plate then stick it in the oven without these?
i.e. I just want to bake it on the rack. Can I do that?
Bad idea. Pizza pans are cheap and the ones with holes will give you a crispy crust.
Pizza stones will make pizza just as good as a pizzeria but they are a bit pricey.

Recipe for hot cookie dough like in Pizza Hut?
Does anyone have a recipe for hot cookie dough like they have in Pizza hut? the top is is kind of chewy, the middle is soft the bottom is all chocolatey and gooey, its delicious! Its served with choc sauce and icecream on a round plate and i would love a similar recipe,

Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie
NOTE: On the menu it is listed as Warm Cookie Dough. I believe that if you took a good chocolate chip cookie brownie type of recipe and baked it in a round dish, or even individual round dishes, you would have the same thing. You don’t want to bake until totally crisp. You want to take it out of the oven whilst still a bit moist and chewy and then top it warm, with a scoop of a nice vanilla ice-cream and drizzle with a good chocolate sauce.
Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 (12 ounce) package Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 10×15 inch jelly roll pan.
2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spread into greased 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Cool in pan on a wire rack, then cut into bars.
