Safe Packing Tips to Pack Kitchen Items
Most of the items in kitchen are breakable, heavy and expensive. Packing them is a tough and skillful task. Even minor mishandling can cause heavy damage to your goods. One needs to pack them properly to ensure their safe relocation from one part to another. One cannot pack kitchen items without learning proper packing tips.
However one can easily pack them after learning some basic tricks of packing goods. But before start packing, collect required packing material. You will need wooden box, cartons, dish packer box, tape, glue cushioning material, bubble wrap, foam, tissue paper, etc. After collecting these materials, make a packing junction where you can pack goods comfortably. Your dining table or iron table can act as packing junction. Now learn some useful packing tips to pack kitchen items safely:
Kitchen electronic appliances: Try to pack appliances like mixer, juicer, oven, chimney, coffee maker, blender and other electronic items in their parent cartons. These cartons are already provided with foams and required cushions. So you can easily pack them. If you do not have parent box, bring the proper sized box from market. You can get such boxes from any moving agency.
Fragile crockery: Pack dishes made of glass and bone china in a dish packer box. Dish packer box are already cushioned and you can easily pack crockery. But before placing them in box, wrap them properly.
Kitchen utensil like pots, pans, etc: These utensils are generally made of steel and like metals. You can easily pack them in any wooden carton. They are not easily breakable. So, do not need to take extra care in packing them. Just place them in box and fill the extra vacant space with fillers to avoid collision in the route of transportation. Place small utensils in the bigger in order to save space before packing them.
Do not forget to cushion the bottom of the box or carton before packing anything. Also wrap reach item before placing them in carton. Bubble wrapper is good to wrap fragile and soft items. Fill the extra space that remains left after placing goods. Use wadded piece of old newspaper, old clothes, foam, etc for filling extra space. Before packing bottles and jars, make them empty if possible. However, you can pack jars with dry items inside. But do not get mistaken to pack bottles, jars or containers with fluid inside.
